MESSAGES FROM DESK

Chairperson’s Message

School Education plays a major role in the life of an individual and the process is preparation of life itself. It shapes the character of an individual, develops skills to help cope with the challenges of the real world, later in life. The most important quality to be instilled in students during their school education is the mindset of service before self, which is the mission and vision of our school.

Our School believes to provide a learning environment which nurtures the young minds, focussing on the holistic development and enables our students to become achievers with deep regards for ethical, moral and human values. We encourage the intellectual and imaginative thought process of each student and motivate them to explore new frontiers of learning thus preparing them to be lifelong learners.

Following our vision ‘SERVICE BEFORE SELF’, our dedicated faculty, administrative staff, and the management, fosters a collaborative environment and work diligently to nurture, support and educate each student to become
globally competent individuals.

Director's Message

Aksharanam a-karo’smi dvandvah samasikasya cha I
Aham evakshayah kalo dhataham vishvato-mukhah II
“I am the beginning “A” amongst all letters; I am the dual word in grammatical compounds. I am the endless Time, and amongst creators I am Brahma.”
– Lord Krishna in BHAGAVAD GITA[10:33]

Our students are future of the country. Education with moral value is like a strong ship with proper rudder which will sail them through in any storm. The most vulnerable part of their life is childhood. Its imprints are valuable. During this period, sense of humanity and compassion are the strong lessons to inculcate. Caring of one’s health is also prime lesson at this stage which will add rich value in later life. During past years, vibrant rhythm resounds in each corner of Salwan Girls Sr. Sec. School. Senior student’s actions have inspired to dream more, learn more, do more & excel in any field they step in.

We remember Nelson Mandela –

“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”

We educate our students to bring positive mindset. The institution considers ‘Education for all round development’ to be its priority.

“shraddhavan labhate jnanam tat-parah sanyatendriyah…
“Those whose faith is deep and have practiced controlling their mind and senses attain knowledge…”
– Lord Krishna in BHAGAVAD GITA [04:39]

Principal's Message

“In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love.”
– Mother Teresa

We at Salwan Girls School, feel proud that we are part of an institute, with committed and supportive management and a team of dedicated teachers. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combined with academics and extra-curricular activities in the children. Converting every individual into a self-reliant and independent citizen, the school provides an amalgam of scholastic and co-scholastic activities.

While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare the girls for their future life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavour to always live up to this ideology and we are very sure that with the help of all the stakeholders and their continuous support, we will be able to take our school to the next highest level of excellence.

The ability to be innovative and creative is important to me. I enjoy being challenged and inspired by the people around me. I aim to enthuse and challenge staff and students to also be inventive and imaginative in their learning and day to day tasks.

  • For people across the country and around the world, COVID-19 has brought about a perspective shift. It has forced us to examine what is most important to us and how we want our lives to look moving forward. All of us have become a family supporting and strengthening each other emotionally, financially, learning to empathise and be patient in critical situations.
  • Teamwork is our hallmark and I’m very sure that through collaborative effort we will be able to achieve more to benefit our students who are the citizens of tomorrow.
