Admissions to class XI start after declaration of class X Result.
Admissions to class VI
As per the guidelines by Directorate of Education.
Admissions to other classes
Subject to availability of seats in the desired class.
ADMISSION CRITERIA FOR CLASS VI
DATE:- 1st April onwards
STEPS FOLLOWED
- REGISTRATION:— Students to fill the details in registration form provided by the school and submit the same along with a copy of Report card of Class 5.
- GROUPING THE STUDENTS:- Salwan Girls School being an aided school strictly follows non-plan admission policy of DOE( Directorate of Education). Accordingly, the students are categorised into two groups as per the DOE admission policy.
- (a) Category 1 : students passing class 5 from a recognised school with a valid School Leaving Certificate and Report card.
- (b) Category 2 : students passing class 5 from an unrecognised school/never attended school/dropouts. As per the directions of DOE , numeracy and literacy skills of the students who fall in this category are selected after an age appropriate assessment.
DISPLAY OF MERIT LIST
First Merit list of the category 1 (prepared as per the marks of class 5) and of category 2 students(prepared as per the assessment) are displayed on 10th of April.
SUBMISSION OF DULY FILLED ADMISSION FORM
Parents collect admission form from school and submit the same along with following documents:—-
- Original SLC in case of recognized school/ affidavit in case of unrecognized school .
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of Aadhaar card
- Category certificate ( SC/ST/OBC ), if applicable
- Address proof
- Copy of child’s bank account passbook
- Recent passport size photograph.
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS AND ALLOCATION OF CLASS
After the verification of the documents , classes are allocated to the students as per the additional subject opted. Regular classes starts from second week of April(tentatively)
FURTHER COURSE OF ACTION
Second list (Waiting list) is displayed as per the availability of seats after all the applicants of first list have taken admission.
All the details and the admission forms along with the documents submitted are documented.
NOTE: The admission in other classes( VII to IX) is also taken subjected to the availability of the seats
REGISTRATION AND UNIQUE ID CREATION WITH DOE
All the admitted students are enrolled with DOE where they are assigned Unique ID.
